Lillie's Real Driving Test (All Test Footage Used With Permission )

Here is Lillie's Real Driving Test on the 8th of July 2021 where she received a clean sheet, zero faults.

See how she takes the initiative and slots into roundabouts easily, with practical driving on busy roads. Pulling over to the left, pulling away, a hill start and supermarket forward parking.

There is no audio from inside the car, only outside footage with forward and reverse cameras. I have recorded a voice over for guidance, which will help you when practicing.

Very well done Lillie on your First Time Pass with Zero Faults.

The Examiner got out of the vehicle and said what a lovely drive!

Freya's Real Driving Test

Tom's Real Driving Test

This is Tom's Real Driving Test on the 21st of July 2021, where he passed First Time with 3 Driver Faults (minor). He has had 20.5 Hrs of Driving Lesson with me from start to finish. (prior to Lessons he had around 5 hrs with his Dad to understand the basics of control)

He does well to negotiate lane changes, and keep his cool under the pressure of the Parallel Park. He also performs an excellent Emergency stop along Penzance Road.

Quite a long route, around Ipswich, and out towards Rushmere St Andrew, and into the countryside of Foxhall Road, he travels along the A12 and the A14 Dual Carriageways, and back into The Havens at the Ransomes Euro Park, for a finish and debrief.

There is no audio within the vehicle, but watch the video for the Driver Faults and advice for good private practice.

Well Done Tom on your First Time Pass!

Morgan's Real Driving Test

This is Morgan's Real Driving Test on the 20th of December 2021, where he passed with 0 Driver Faults.

Starting off with satellite navigation, heading out towards the Havens and through to Nacton village. There are tricky country winding roads which are national speed limit, followed by advisory speed limits for tight corners. A tight left turn into Nacton village sees him park on the right for his reversing manoeuvre.

Heading out of the village, sees him pull over to the left to check MSM technique and POM procedure when pulling away, that then leads him to the T junction on Felixstowe Road where national speed limit still applies.

Towards Seven Hills roundabout, he needs to be careful when pulling away here because the traffic is quick, and he does well, and exits in the right lane of the dual carriageway, before carefully checking his mirrors to move over to the normal driving lane.

The satnav then guides him into Foxall and towards the stadium where 30 mile an hour speed limit applies down the hill so he does well to watch his speed. He pulls over a few times to the left, (satellite navigation ends around here and the examiner guides him back under instruction) one being a hill start and then carries on down to the roundabout, where the examiner turns him into Bixley Road heading towards Saint Augustine's church.

Straight over at Saint Augustine's roundabout heading for Sainsbury's roundabout where he turns 3rd exit right, up towards Burger King roundabout where he turns second left towards Central Avenue and back to the test centre for a well deserved Zero Fault Pass!

Fiona's Real Driving Test

This is Fiona's Real Driving Test on the 2nd of February 2022, where she passed First Time with 0 Driver Faults.

Fiona starts off in difficult rainy driving conditions following directions from the examiner. She heads out towards Burger King roundabout, and follows good lane discipline down towards Sainsbury's roundabout and then onto St Augustine's roundabout. She takes the 2nd exit, then the right left. As she's about to turn right, a motorist flashes their indicator to alerts their presence, she checks herself, acknowledges the motorists, that makes it her decision to turn into the road and up the hill for the first left where she pulls over to the left to practice MSM technique and POM procedure. She pulls away, and a few hundred yards later pulls up behind a car for her angled pull away. Turning a few more times sees her pull over to the right for her reversing manoeuvre. She does very well to observe all round and stops appropriately for oncoming traffic, that may present a hazard and moves in between the cars coming in a timely manner. After the next right turn she pulls over to the left and starts satellite navigation. (approximately 20 minutes).

Following a right turn onto Foxhall Road where, the "lollipop" persons are there for School traffic control and safety. Pulling over to the left a couple of times on the busy road, again to check her MSM and POM procedure. Once she pulls away, it's a trip down into the Foxhall "dip" keeping to 30 mph limit, and then gets up to 40 mph towards Bell Lane crossroads.  Heading out towards Foxhall/Brightwell roundabout, on winding country roads, she gets up to a good 45mph in the 50 limit. She turns right (3rd exit) into the normal driving lane, onto the A12 dual carriageway. Getting up to speed, overtaking a convoy of tractors, keeps her heading for the 3rd exit at the Seven Hills roundabout, (straight ahead) onto the A1156 and through towards Trinity Park area. First exit at the roundabout (straight ahead) sees her heading down towards Sainsbury's roundabout, where she turns (1st exit) left towards Burger King roundabout, and back into Master Lord Village/Central Avenue, for a finish at the Test Centre.

Well done Fiona on your First Time Pass with Zero Driver Faults!
